About Kyle Busch
Born on May 2, 1985, this Las Vegas native is not just any driver, he's a bona fide NASCAR superstar. And trust me, that's not an easy feat. Kyle is the younger brother of another NASCAR big shot, Kurt Busch, so it seems like speed and skill run in their blood. Kyle was barely out of his teens when he went pro, and he's been flooring the gas pedal ever since. When it comes to his accomplishments, buckle up, because the list is long. He's won the NASCAR Cup Series Championship twice. He was the king of the track in 2015 and 2019. But Kyle's love for racing isn't just limited to the Cup Series. He's also dominated the Xfinity Series and the Camping World Truck Series. In fact, he's won so many Xfinity Series races that he holds the record for the most wins. Impressive, right? Kyle's made history a few times, too. In 2009, he pulled off the remarkable feat of winning two NASCAR national series races in the same day. Then, in 2010, he upped the ante by becoming the first driver to win in all three of NASCAR's top series in the same weekend. Talk about a hat trick! Some folks might find Kyle's driving style a bit aggressive, but hey, you don't get to be one of the best without a strong desire to win. Off the track, he's not just sitting around, either. He runs Kyle Busch Motorsports, which competes in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and other racing events.Take our NASCAR History Buff Quiz!
