About Kevin Michael Harvick

Born December 8, 1975, Kevin Michael Harvick has sculpted a reputation as a skilled and versatile personality in American professional stock car racing. With a blend of unyielding passion and expertise, Harvick is at the wheel of the No. 4 Ford Mustang, representing Stewart-Haas Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Harvick has won numerous awards in the racing world in a distinguished career spanning over thirty years. His victories include clinching the Cup Series championship in 2014, capturing the Xfinity Series titles in 2001 and 2006, and conquering the prestigious 2007 Daytona 500. Furthermore, his extraordinary expertise at Phoenix Raceway sets him apart, with an incredible record of nine Cup Series wins.

Harvick's success extends far beyond individual races, with 121 combined national series wins placing him third in NASCAR's record, only behind legends Richard Petty and Kyle Busch. His 60 Cup wins rank him tenth in series history, cementing his place among the greats.

Kevin Harvick's initiation into NASCAR in 1992 laid the foundation for a significant and influential career woven into the sport's very fabric. Harvick's achievements are legendary as one of a mere six drivers to secure a championship in both the Cup and Xfinity Series and part of an elite group of 36 racers with victories in all three of NASCAR's national series. When the legendary Dale Earnhardt passed away tragically and unexpectedly in a racing accident in 2001, he was hand-picked to fill Earnhardt's vacant seat in NASCAR's top-tier series.

Outside of his remarkable track record, Harvick's role in the sport goes beyond racing, reaching into ownership. He guided Kevin Harvick Incorporated, a race team that fielded cars in the Xfinity and Truck Series between 2001 and 2011. Harvick's charisma and distinctive style have also made waves in the media, garnering him memorable nicknames like "The Closer" and "Happy Harvick."

Kevin Michael Harvick's imprint on the sport endures, particularly as the longest-serving active driver in the Cup Series. His unwavering dedication, innate talent, and substantial influence within racing stand as a compelling testament to an exceptional career that shows no hint of losing momentum even after all these years.
