About Alex Bowman

Alexander Michael Warren Bowman, known widely as Alex Bowman or by his nickname "Bowman the Showman," is an acclaimed figure in American professional stock car racing. Bowman's career has been characterized by tenacity, talent, and a little controversy since his birth on April 25, 1993.

Competing full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, Bowman drives the No. 48 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Hendrick Motorsports. He's also a familiar face in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, where he drives the No. 17 Chevrolet Camaro for HMS, as well as in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, where he pilots the No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado for Spire Motorsports.

In addition to his driving duties, Bowman is also a team owner, overseeing Alex Bowman Racing, Dirt Midget, and Sprint car racing team.

Bowman's reputation on the racetrack is that of a fierce and competitive driver. He has achieved six consecutive front-row starts in the prestigious Daytona 500 from 2018 to 2023, winning the pole position in 2018, 2021, and 2023. This record has solidified his status as one of the sport's elite talents.
